I think US is helping to china because india will purchase military equipments from US and as US market is down they will require money to flow in their country... What China thinks is an accomplishment, might as well be considered a stunted growth phenomenon. For example: Most modern engineering graduates know how to solve equations using scientific calculators, Matlab, etc. But how many really know how those software work and the math behind the various toolboxes? Such is the plight of technology adopters, they are forever slaves to such technology upgrades aka latest patch, release...no one really knows what was patched or updated. And since their immediate lives are improved, their mental capability to design and analytically solve complex questions and reasoning gets lost. Now they can't imagine new things, they have to wait for imagination to come from West. That is the bane India/China has taken upon themselves in courting the west. No indigenous research, ambition or support for private institutions in enabling research. Govt sponsered research has become hopelessly subverted by vested interests, that the only salvation lays in private research institutes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-57257467083190640012012-07-03T23:01:05.848-07:002012-07-03T23:01:05.848-07:00@Ajai sir

The Chinese have done the same with Russian systems as well.

Their is joke going round, if the Russians dont find the blue prints or Tech documents of their defense products in Russia, they can well ask the Chinese to supply those original documents. So much for money power, huh.

Lets hope better sense prevails in US with regards to Indian companies.

Thanks

Joydeep Ghoshjoydeep ghoshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00038225081192821456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-13602631315942785072012-07-03T19:56:11.396-07:002012-07-03T19:56:11.396-07:00haah I love PRC and their skillshaah I love PRC and their skillsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-63382884219104878302012-07-03T13:02:27.013-07:002012-07-03T13:02:27.013-07:00Stop staring at China and instead learn from their...Stop staring at China and instead learn from their expertise. Indians have the power of imagination and capabilities for research, but when it comes to giving shape to their dreams and imaginations, they are severly handicaped. Unfortunately no one in our society has fully realized the importance of manufacturing and prototyping skills over the software IT skills. It is equally important that our children are taught the practicals of fabrication, manufacturing and Machining from junior school level. And each house should also have a 3D printer and mini-CNC machine to give shape to their dreams along with the usual PC computer, Laptop and Tablets.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-21378379418365780162012-07-03T12:53:43.036-07:002012-07-03T12:53:43.036-07:00China has a strategic plan to become the next domi...China has a strategic plan to become the next dominant super-power, and for that it has already done its ground-work. India should learn from China and start looking to build capacities first in Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Infrastructure development and research. If these areas are ignored in favor of already mature field of IT, then we are not going anywhere forward in the future. Also the will to lead has to come from Political class at state and local government levels. Most of which is either absent or unwilling to change. Indian mentality is still feudal, which needs to change drastically and freedom to do anything should be allowed for real individual growth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-21929450594766461432012-07-03T07:54:49.176-07:002012-07-03T07:54:49.176-07:00It can be expected that the fines were already tak...It can be expected that the fines were already taken care off in the cost and profit calculations.Mr. Ranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-56102035327650944522012-07-03T03:10:23.625-07:002012-07-03T03:10:23.625-07:00US has always been helping chinese, while putting ...US has always been helping chinese, while putting all kinds of EULA, EUMA against India for even legitimate FMS deals.

Great that IAF didn't fall for shornet or f 35 deals.
