China is a bully ...I endorse the views of Hari Sud. China is a bully and a bully needs to be faced upto. Also bullies are rarely as good as they are made out to be.

It is difficult to penetrate a well laid out defence behind a mountain.So in a conventional warfare, the sides are more evenly matched than the numbers would suggest. Capture and shoot a few of their transgressing soldiers, you will see a different attitude from them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8726844009873922462.post-11126080055693405592013-09-12T17:38:33.932-07:002013-09-12T17:38:33.932-07:00I hope in the next war with China or Pakistan, Ind...I hope in the next war with China or Pakistan, Indian Army does not give away a bulk of its weaponary to the invading enemy forces as happened in 62 and 65 wars. We need to draw them in and cut-off their re-supply lines and then cut them to pieces. Especially with Pakistan, take no prisoners. You have to change your photo for...Colonel Shukla;

You have to change your photo for this website. As I saw your photo elsewhere including BS, this one does not look like you.

The very first article "Two Front War" is informative.

Tell me what is India afraid of? Chinese have 200,000 troops; we have 200,000 troops on the border. They have rapid deployment force at Chengdu, we have a 90,000 men strike force in Bengal & Assam.

They have a infrastructure built on tableland of average height of 7,000 feet. We have defensive preparation on mountain tops to cut off over-enthusiastic Chinese troops who advance too far. Rather their attack ratio is not good at all.

They have airfields in Tibet where planes with half the load can take off. We have airfields with no such short comings in the plains of Bengal and Assam.

What if Indian bombers score a hit on their railway line and melt that portion which is built on permafrost. They would be struggling to keep their troops supplied.

Imagine this scenario with Tibetans resistance standing up to fight. Then Chinese would be at a total disadvantage.

Then I ask all the analysts you quote "What are we afraid off".

Much of the analysts carry a defeatist tendencies. They stay in the game by simply scaring the hell out of people. These people are joined together by Arms merchant who use the same tactic as used by an life insurance salesman i.e. scare you with untenable scenario.

Be brave. Dump all this third class analysis of the past and start looking forward.

Moment the forgoing happens it will scare the Chinese and build up our own national morale.Hari Sud (M.S., B.
